Lee County Tax Collector - Cape Coral

I recently needed to renew my Florida drivers license and simply dreaded the process as most people do. My anxiety turned around when I was professionally served by a lady named Scarlett. She was professional, respectful, responsive, and absolutely understood the system. She guided me through every step which included getting my Florida voters registration accomplished. I could not be more pleased with the experience, and how I was treated. Scarlett is the reason I love my move to Florida! She made it effortless. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Today was awesome I went in with a bunch of questions and the very nice young lady Kimberly helped me, she was very helpful,nice and also showed positive attitude, kept very good eye contact when talking and showed she enjoyed her job you guys are lucky to have her! Very good customer service dmv you are training them well! Thank you Kimberly for an awesome time there!

Ebony was my representative. She was amazing! I have had a license for over 30 years and I have never had a representative as kind, caring, happy, welcoming and went above and beyond. Ebony was very patient and explained everything in a respectful way. She put me at ease. Best experience I have ever had at the DMV. She deserves a raise. I highly recommend her. It was obvious she enjoys her job. I could go on and on about her. She is a fantastic woman. So wonderful that I asked her if I could leave a review for her. My experience with the lady at the front desk was extremely rude, short, and seemed annoyed that I asked her a question. Very poor customer service from her. She needs to be retrained in customer service. I have never experienced someone so rude and dismissive. I wish I would I gotten her name. She was seated on the right at front desk when you walk in. Also, I was the only person in line. My appointment was at 2pm. I was tempted to leave 4 stars due to her, but Ebony made up for her behavior.

Absolutely wrong DMV! I understand the need to make appointments for services! But, they should be aware that there are people who do not know when they can get a day off from work, and that day they take the opportunity to do paperwork. What I mean is that those of us who come without an appointment, they make us wait more than 3 hours to be served... they have 24 stations, of which most of the time they are empty and few people work. As a recommendation; Hire more staff. And out of 24 stations at least put 4 to work dedicated to people who come without appointment, we also have other things to do with our day...please.

Great experience! Scarlett was amazing! Super sweet and helpful! She helped me when she really didn’t have to and genuinely seemed to care, which is hard to come by these days in my opinion. You always want to have a good experience going anywhere and a personable one is 100 times better and that’s what I got going here! Glad I picked to come here! The vibe in general was great, every single person I saw working was doing their best to help and you can always tell when the vibe is good! Scarlett was helping her co workers and someone else at the same time as me (but in a professional manner, she was again going out of her way to help someone else) Thank you again Scarlett, you’re awesome!!!

From the front desk staff, to the nice lady walking around checking in on everyone to our main person Kimberly, we had a very good experience. This afternoon we had the pleasure of working with Kimberly. She was kind, patient and answered all our questions. I was extremely stressed before our appointment but she helped alleviate that stress with her patience! Kimberly, thank you!!

They should enable at least one cubicle for people who come without an appointment. It seems disrespectful to me to have waited 5 hours 47 minutes to be attended to. There are circumstances that do not allow people to make an appointment in advance. They should take these aspects into account because the truth is that it is a great lack of respect.

After explaining the efficiency of the DMV here in FL, we had a great 2 hour wait at this location to get A drivers license swap, and plates. Only to be told the servicing agent couldn’t do plates and we would have to wait some more. This is after getting the appointment and sitting for 2 hours due to the incompetent employees. Go down to Bonita where the employees are friendly, are able to do their jobs in a timely manner, and your appointment time is actually the time you are served Absolute disgrace allowing walk ins through while appointments are still siting waiting
